  • The Art Pavilion “Cvijeta Zuzorić” is located in the section of the Kalemegdan Park called Mali Kalemegdan. The Pavilion building was erected in 1928 after the design of the architect Branislav Kojić, in the Art Deco style.
  • This gallery space of the Pavillion has been managed by the Association of Fine Artists of Serbia since 1945.
  • In 1922, the writer Branislav Nušić founded the Association of Friends of Art “Cvijeta Zuzorić”, whose name celebrated the memory of Dubrovnik noblewoman and poet from the 16th century. The Association suggested construction of the pavilion in Belgrade, exclusively for the exhibition of works of art. Thus, “Cvijeta Zuzorić” Pavillion was the first venue in Serbia built solely for the purpose of organizing artistic events.
  • Since the first year of the Pavilion’s establishment, two large collective exhibitions have been established, the tradition of which continues today – the Spring Exhibition and Autumn Exhibition.
