- Palace “Albania on the corner of Kolaračeva and Knez Mihailova streets was the first skyscraper in Belgrade.
- The building was designed by project of Branko Bon and Milan Grakalić from 1938 and completed in 1939 according to the projects of Miladin Prljević and Đorđe Lazarević.
- It remained the tallest building in the center of Belgrade for more than a three decades later.
- The palace was named after the eponymous tavern “Albania” from 1860, which was located on the same site.
