  • At the time, Djordje Stanojevic was one of the few individuals who truly understood and studied Tesla’s work. He organized Nikola Tesla’s visit to Belgrade from June 1 to June 3, 1892, and accompanied him back to Budapest
  • During Tesla’s visit, Stanojevic seized the opportunity to introduce the Serbian public to Tesla’s groundbreaking work. On the train ride back to Budapest, Stanojevic and Tesla discussed publishing a book that would present Tesla’s achievements to date. Tesla agreed and sent his lecture manuscripts and image plates upon returning to America
  • In 1894, Stanojevic compiled and published the book titled Nikola Tesla and His Discoveries, the first book about Tesla in Serbian and the second worldwide. Stanojevic remained dedicated to Tesla’s work throughout his life, often referencing Tesla’s discoveries in his endeavors
