- the Dinaric region into the areas of Mačva, Posavina and Pocerina
- Mačva was populated predominantly by people from Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Posavina and Pocerina by migrants from Herzegovina and Montenegro
- This created a fusion between the Dinaric and native cultures and over time a new cultural layer came to be added from the traditions of the Dinaric immigrants
