Petrović’s proclamation to the Serbian people to prepare for the uprising, Karađorđe’s
decree appointing Hajduk Veljko as the Krajina voivode with a list of villages under his
jurisdiction, and Karađorđe Petrović’s letter to Milutin Petrović, the voivode of Negotin,
from 1813 - Đorđe Petrović (1768-1817), known as Karađorđe and Black George, was the
leader of the First Serbian Uprising and the founder of the Karađorđević dynasty - Here you can also see a photograph of Hajduk Veljko’s gunpowder magazine, the only
remaining structure of the Baba Finka fortification, located within the courtyard of the
Holy Trinity Church.
