- The Military Museum was opened in 1904, but previously it had been located in the building that today houses the Cultural Monument Protection Institute.
- In 1961, the museum was reopened in its present-day building.
- Among the Military Museum’s collection, you can see weapons, uniforms, flags, medals, archives, works of art, photographs, miniature models, and much more.
- A part of the museum’s collection is also displayed in the space outside the museum building.
