- Vojislav Marjanović (1905 – 1981) founded the Section for the History of Medicine and Pharmacy of the Serbian Medical Society in 1950, where he served as secretary for fifteen years
- He is also the founder of the Section for the History of Pharmacy of the Pharmaceutical Association of Serbia, where he served as secretary for 23 years, and later as president
- Vojislav Marjanović made a significant contribution to the field of the history of pharmacy.
