- Bristol Hotel in Karađorđeva Street was erected as the building of the Insurance and Credit Association of the Belgrade Cooperative between 1910 and 1912. The hotel was projected by Nikola Nestorović, one of the leading Serbian architects of that time.
- Bristol Hotel was one of the largest and most modern hotels in the Kingdom of Serbia. In the terms of architectural style, it represents a mature phase of the Belgrade Art Nouveau.
- The hotel became a center of political and social gatherings, soon after its opening. For more than a century of its activity, Bristol Hotel has hosted many famous people and important events.
