  • The base for forming the collection of applied art was the discovery of a series of objects the museum acquired as the result of archaeological excavations in the area of medieval Kruševac. These objects still represent the most important segment of the collection, which has been enriched over time thanks to archaeological digs, purchases, and donations.
  • The numerous movable finds from the town of Kruševac, as well as some of the jewellery and cult objects from Stalać, are evidence of the artistic feeling and technical knowledge of the region’s medieval artisans.
  • Besides the original objects, the collection also includes copies of significant documents and historical sources. As was pre-determined by its designers, the collection includes copies of frescoes, stone plastic, manuscripts, and the reconstruction of the vestments of Prince Lazar Hrebeljanović.
