  • “Grčka kraljica” (“Greek Queen”) is a former tavern in 51 Knez Mihailova Street. It was built in 1835 and designed in the style of academism. The author of the project is unknown. This is also the oldest building in Knez Mihailova Street. The tavern was closed in 2007.
  • Immediately after its construction, the building became a tavern, originally called ” Despotov Han”, and did not change its purpose for the next 172 years.
  • “Grčka kraljica” is one of the few buildings in Belgrade that was not destroyed during the wars. Although the building has been extended and renovated several times, for the most part, it has preserved its authentic exterior appearance.
