  • The monument is dedicated to the Grand Prince Stefan Nemanja, the founder of the Serbian medieval Nemanjić dynasty. It represents the ruling figure of Stefan Nemanja in noble attire. In his right hand is a sword, and in his left hand is the Charter of Hilandar.
