- Park of Friendship (Park Prijateljstva) is located in New Belgrade. It covers a large green area from Hotel Yugoslavia along the Danube and the Sava rivers to Branko’s Bridge.
- The idea for the establishment of the park came from the organization Mladi Gorani who, in the name of holding of the First Conference of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM)in Belgrade in 1961, decided to establish a memorial park as a symbol of struggle for peace and equality of all nations around the world.
- In the central area of the park is the Avenue of Peace, where 26 plane trees were planted by statesmen of NAM. The Eternal Flame memorial, dedicated to the victims of the NATO bombing of Yugoslavia, is also located in the same area of the park.
