- The sculpture entitled Family is the work of the academic sculptor Jovan Soldatović
- It was installed in memory of the murdered 1300 Jews, Serbs and Roma in the notorious Raid by the occupying Hungarian forces
- Criminal mass executions took place at this place on 23rd January 1942
- In 1971 the 4 metre high bronze sculptural composition which represents a mother and father with a baby and child was installed
- Here every 23rd January the descendents of those who perished, citizens of Novi Sad, religious and polical officials, diplomatic representatives gather to honour the dead and to call for peace and tolerance
