  • Air force planes from the airport in Preljina bombed German attack columns on the border with Bulgaria
  • Units of the 60th Motorised Division of the German Army captured the city on April 17
  • On July 12, 1941, the Čačak partisan detachment of Dr Dragiša Mišović was formed on Jelica Mountain, near Stjenik Monastery. In mid-July, it had over 500 fighters. Chetnik units also operated in the area, the most important of which was the Jelica Chetnik detachment
  • In October 1941, the Čačak partisan detachment took part in the battles for Kraljevo with Chetnik forces
  • The most important items on display are the weapons of the participants in the uprising in 1941, as well as items related to the death and suffering of the Serbian people involved in the partisan movement
