  • The collection of fine art at the National Museum of Kruševac features a representative collection of works by artists spanning a wide range of periods. These works are of great significance for understanding the historical and modern trajectory of the Serbian artistic scene during the 20th century.
  • The formation of the collection occurred in several stages, beginning in 1953.
  • In 1980, the collection of fine art grew by 105 pieces that represented some of the finest work of the artists who created them. The collection was divided into three clearly separated segments:
  • A collection of works created before 1950, with an emphasis on creations by artists from the region;
  • A collection of works inspired by traditions from Kosovo that represents the history of the Serbian medieval state of the Moravian epoch;
  • A collection of works of modern fine art.
  • Also included are the memorial collections of legendary artists Milan Milovanović and Dragoslav Vasiljević Figa, as well as the legacy of the Mihailović sisters.
  • The collection of fine art at the National Museum of Kruševac includes 491 works.
