  • The Historical Museum of Serbia was founded in 1963. Through its exhibits, the museum articulates and interprets knowledge about the past of Serbia and the Serbian people, as well as other peoples and cultures that have lived and still live in the territory of Serbia from the Middle Ages to the present.
  • The exhibition space of the Museum is located at 11 Nikola Pašić Square, in the building of the former Agrarian Bank, which was constructed by the design of Belgrade architects Petar and Branko Krstić between 1932 and 1934.
  • The Residence of Prince Miloš in Topčider has been a part of the Museum since 1966.
