  • Ičko’s House at 18 Bežanijska Street was built in 1793. It is one of the oldest preserved houses and a representative of a town house from the end of the 18th century.
  • The house was built in the Classical style. There used to be a tavern called “Kraljević Marko” on the ground floor, and apartments on the first floor. Over time, the house was remodeled, and a complete reconstruction was carried out in the 1980s.
  • It is known as Ičko’s house because the rebel diplomat and trader Petar Ičko stayed in it from 1802–1803. Ičko played an important role in the First Serbian Uprising in 1804, working with the Serbian rebels.
