  • The residence of Princess Ljubica is one of the few preserved buildings from the time of the first reign of Prince Miloš Obrenović.
  • With its Serbian-Balkan style architecture, this building represents one of the best examples of civic architecture of the first half of the 19th century in Belgrade.
  • It was built between 1829 and 1831, according to the plans of Hadži Nikola Živković, the Prince’s official builder.
  • After the reconstruction, the building became a part of the Belgrade City Museum in 1980. That same year , a permanent exhibition called “Interiors of the 19th century Belgrade houses” was opened.
