  • There are three sculptures in the permanent exhibition of the museum. Two of these are made of galvanized tin, and together they form one polarised work of art.
  • The first half, entitled Push to the East, is in the shape of an ominous and powerful eagle representing fascism at the beginning of the war. The second half of the sculpture, called Death of the Mammoth, represents the same powerful bird, which has now been turned into a shapeless mass of broken metal at the end of the war. Both were sculpted by Oto Logo and first exhibited in 1975.
  • The third sculpture, entitled October in Kragujevac by Nandor Glid, is displayed in the center of the upper level of the museum and consists of two parts. The first part, made of original German weapons and helmets, represents heavily armed, dehumanized soldiers. These soldiers are pointing machine guns at the second part of the sculpture: a group of terrified victims riddled with bullet holes.
  • The ceremonial portal on the upper level of the museum is framed with a bronze frieze entitled Mothers. The stylized shapes represent a sad procession of women wearing black scarves on their heads. They remain dignified despite their pain, which is buried deep in their hearts. The frieze was sculpted by Nikola “Koka” Janković.
