  • Since its foundation, the museum and the memorial park have been visited by more than five million people. Organized visits begin in the museum and end in the memorial space.
  • Work began on a new installation within the complex in 2003. This was done to upgrade the existing installation, which was aesthetically and ideologically outdated. The authors of the exhibition are historians Staniša Brkić, Milan Koljanin and Nenad Đorđević, and academic painters Irena Paunović, and Igor Stepančić.
  • The permanent exhibition was conceived so that the entire lower level of the museum is dedicated to various artistic and documentary exhibitions. In the gallery space on the lower level there is a permanent exhibition called Kragujevac 1941. This is a 27-painting legacy that was gifted by the great artist Petar Lubarda in 1969.
  • The upper level of the museum consists of 15 chronologically organized panels and a memorial room, which contains basic personal information about the civilians who were executed.
