of the Days of Mokranjac festival - In memory of Stevan Stojanović Mokranjac, the town of Negotin has been hosting traditional choral music festivities called “Days of Mokranjac” since 1966. This festival is not just one in a series of events in Serbia expressing the city’s desire to have a celebration, but it is primarily conceived as an opportunity to honor the composer through music and stimulate the creative forces of contemporaries in the fields that Mokranjac excelled in or merely indicated
