their contemporaries - As a poet and writer, Sima Milutinović Sarajlija was a precursor of our romanticism. He
was a teacher, scribe, and judge. He participated in the struggles for the liberation of
Serbia. During his travels, he passed through Krajina and Ključ. It is assumed that he met
Hajduk Veljko around 1810 - Vuk Stefanović Karadžić (Tršić, November 6, 1787 – Vienna, February 7, 1864) was the
first Serbian linguist in the 19th century, a reformer of the Serbian language, a collector
of folk creations, and the author of the first Serbian language dictionary. Vuk is the most
significant figure in Serbian literature of the first half of the 19th century. He participated
in the First Serbian Uprising as a scribe and official in the Negotin Krajina
